ABOUT

I am a writer from the Midwest, and have lived and worked in Greece, Italy, the UK, and the American West. 
 

I received my BA from the University of Missouri, with a minor from the School of Journalism. I received an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Idaho, where I held the Hemingway Fellowship.
 

I have received support from the Tin House Writers Workshop, the Kenyon Review Writers Workshop, and the Napa Valley Writers Conference.
 

I have most recently been teaching writing at the University of Missouri, and am currently a Screenwriting Fellow at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles.
